*Description*

The Library Technology Guides Integrated Library System Turnover Report for
recent years details hundreds of libraries that have made the switch from
one ILS to another. These system migrations are massive projects involving
configuration changes, data migration, workflow development, integrations,
and staff communication and training. If you are part of an upcoming
migration or have recently completed one, come join us for a discussion on
strategies to ensure a successful migration.

*Hosts*

Buddy Pennington is the Head of Systems & Technology at the University of
Missouri-Kansas City. He serves as the library’s ILS Coordinator and was
involved in migrating to FOLIO in 2022.

Emily Fidelman is the Head of Metadata Services at West Virginia
University, which is considering migration from OCLC’s WorldShare
Management Services (WMS) in the next 2-3 years. She has been a beta tester
at two institutions during their migrations to Innovative’s Millennium and
Sierra, respectively, in ca. 2002 and 2010.

Anne LePage is the Technical Services & Systems Librarian at Mount Allison
University in Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada. She first helped lead her
library through a migration to Aleph when they joined their consortium,
Novanet, in 2019. Three years later, in 2022, she led her library through
the Alma migration along with the other institutions in Novanet.

*What Is an e-Forum?*

A Core e-forum provides an opportunity for librarians to discuss matters of
interest, led by a moderator, through the e-forum discussion list. The
e-forum discussion list works like an email listserv: register your email
address with the list, and then you will receive messages and communicate
with other participants through an email discussion. Most e-forums last two
