[Eril-l] [External] Testing Access to E-resources from "off-campus"

Jennifer, can you tell us more about how you utilize SmartBear??? I am very
intrigued!

I can't help but notice that so many of the methods mentioned (which I also
use!) involve using our own personal devices, money, and/or off-hours time.

At least for me, it feels hard to articulate to others (i.e., higher ups)
why regular access to a device with a *non*-campus IP address is an ongoing
necessity of e-resources management. What if there were a document out
there that librarians could refer to or that had example language for
explaining to folks who don't do ERM work why it's necessary, and
summarizing ways this can be accomplished using the *institution's*
resources? Do folks think that could be useful in getting their
institutions to help implement better solutions to this problem?
