Thank you for your response. I regularly collect usage stats for IPEDS and ACRL. Also I collect and track before the renewal time of databases and journals. I do COUNTER 5 total item investigation for databases (to include abstract databases). To track cost per usage, I collect unique item requests for journal titles. For resources that do not use COUNTER, I look up view and check out stats. However, my original question was specifically for the idea of “snapshot” because our director wants one (single) number to include everything. I tried to explain how electronic resources usage number is different than other usage numbers, he insists. So I was wondering if other libraries were doing something similar, and how, if so.
