This is a really great question!  When I first set it up, I focused specifically on resources my campus subscribed to, and to databases.  As we have gone along, I’ve loosened that up a great deal, including links to other campuses of the university, added databases that our residents and faculty have credentials to but are not paid for at this campus, added a DOI search, a link to Browzine, links to key LibGuides, and other resources.  I feel like defining what the A-Z list is for broadly has been very helpful to us.

Hi, everyone --

We are gathering information on guidelines for alphabetical lists of databases and/or electronic resources. How do you all decide which subscription resources to include in your library’s Database list? Does your list also include Open Access resources? If so, how do you decide which OA resources to include/exclude? Even if your library doesn't have formal guidelines, it would be great to hear from you.
