Pacific: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Mountain: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Central: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Eastern: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.



There's been a lot of difficult and performative discussions regarding
equity, diversity, and inclusion in the library profession. In your
institutions, have you or your colleagues intentionally applied equity,
diversity, and inclusion values in practice and in behavior? What does it
look like? What has worked or not worked? During this e-forum session,
facilitators will prompt a series of questions to explore opportunities to
foster EDI values in the workplace. This may include recognizing the issues
of burnout and lack of wellness support in promoting EDI as well as
successful collaborations and programs.



*Hosts*

Ray Pun is a librarian at the Alder Graduate School of Education. He holds
a doctorate in education, MLS and MA in East Asian Studies.



Loida Garcia-Febo is an International Library Consultant and Past President
of the American Library Association (2018-19).



Robin L. Kear is the liaison librarian specializing in English Literature,
Composition, Writing; Gender, Sexuality, & Women's Studies; and Film
Studies and Senate President at the University of Pittsburgh.



*What Is an e-Forum?*

A Core e-forum provides an opportunity for librarians to discuss matters of
interest, led by a moderator, through the e-forum discussion list. The
e-forum discussion list works like an email listserv: register your email
address with the list, and then you will receive messages and communicate
with other participants through an email discussion. Most e-forums last two
to three days. Registration is necessary to participate, but it's free.
