As E-Access Librarian you will:
Collaborate with divisions across the DUL system to engage with and sustain activities and projects that underpin stable e-resource access, authentication, authorization, and supporting workflows. You will use expert knowledge of e-resource licensing, access models, and considerations for patron privacy to create and maintain intuitive, accurate, and stable access to extensive online collections across library access and discovery systems to maximize cross-system functionality and optimize all aspects of the discovery of and access to electronic resources. You will oversee and facilitate access for a wide variety of e-resources using EZproxy, Single-Sign-On (SSO), and other tools and mechanisms in collaboration with colleagues in Collections Services, Digital Strategies & Technologies, and the Duke Office of Information Technology divisions as needed.
As Electronic Resources Acquisitions & Licensing Librarian you will:
Support the acquisition, licensing, and renewal of electronic resources and print serials for DUL in a complex, multi-consortia environment, with an emphasis on electronic resources licensing support. In addition, you will collaborate with departmental colleagues to communicate and build relationships with publisher and vendor representatives, evaluate e-resources, and maintain acquisitions and license records in library systems. You will work closely with DUL's acquisitions staff on questions of ordering, order follow-up, utilization of the licensing database, usage statistics, accessibility of new resources, and other related matters.

Salary and Benefits
Salary and rank dependent on qualifications and experience; the anticipated range is $55,000-$67,000. Comprehensive benefits package includes 20 days vacation, 14 holidays, 12 days sick leave; health, dental, disability and life insurance and support for professional development and training.
