Under general supervision of the unit head, the Acquisitions Specialist
will independently handle a variety of functions, including: supervising
acquisitions staff and the daily operations of the acquisitions unit;
communicating with vendors to resolve problems with orders, payments, or
access; assisting with the management of electronic resources; and
assisting the Acquisition Strategies Librarian with other projects as
needed.
