*for our next training series, Working with Scholarly APIs
<http://www.niso.org/events/working-scholarly-apis-niso-training-series> —
seats are limited and filling up fast, and early bird rates end on
Thursday, April 14!

This eight-week course is intended to provide consistent training and a
baseline of knowledge for content providers, vendors, librarians, and
others working with scholarly APIs that use the HTTP REST paradigm. It’s
led by course moderator, Phill Jones, co-founder for digital and technology
at the MoreBrains Cooperative <https://www.morebrainsconsulting.coop/>, a
consultancy working at the forefront of scholarly infrastructure,
information management, and research dissemination. Phill will be joined by
experts from key scholarly API providers: Helene Draux of Digital Science
(Dimensions); Patricia Feeney of Crossref; Jakob Fix of OECD; Jordan Holt
of ORCID; Pavel Kasyanov and Kadri Nebui, both of Clarivate (Web of
Science); Martin Szomszor, Electric Data Solutions; and Donny Winston of
Polyneme (Open Alex).

This training series will be held weekly on Thursdays from 11.00am-12.30pm
(EDT, US & Canada) from April 28 through June 16, with each session lasting
60-90 minutes. All sessions will be recorded and links will be shared with
course registrants within two business days of each session.

Sign up before April 14 to benefit from the early bird discount — just $750
for NISO members or $825 for non-members.
