Hi Jackie,

Did you see this notice on the end of JHP site<https://about.jstor.org/l/jhp-end/>? If you have paid for content that includes post-cancellation access you should not have to restart a subscription to gain access to that content. It sounds like they haven't figured out yet how PCA is going work.

Post-Cancellation Access claims to content in the program
JSTOR will work with JHP publishers to support the Transfer Code of Practice for all departing titles. We are currently exploring PCA access options with participating JHP publishers to ensure PCA access is available for all JHP content removed from JSTOR. PCA information for each JHP Publisher will be included in the JHP Publisher Transition Guide as soon as it becomes available.

Subject: [Eril-l] JSTOR journal hosting issues

Hello all,
In preparation for the end of the JSTOR journal-hosting program, I'm working through the titles that we no longer have current subscriptions to, but do retain access to the dates when we did hold a subscription.
>From the message I received from JSTOR, if we don't subscribe to the JSTOR Collection those backfiles are in we lose access unless the publisher has moved the content elsewhere.

This is the message I've received from JSTOR.
Because our Journal Hosting Program is ending, we will not be hosting the current content of these titles any longer after grace expires on 3/1/2022. You are entitled to retain access to any content you have subscribed to, but it will not be on JSTOR as we will be putting taking that content off the site and it will only become visible again once it comes out from the moving wall for the participants of the collections they belong to.

Scholarly Publishing Collective only handles current subscriptions, and the backfiles don't go back very far. So that isn't where this content would be. So far I've reached out to one publisher, and they weren't aware we would lose access to those backfiles on JSTOR.

Has anyone else come across this issue? We will have to come up with the subscription cost of about 12 additional JSTOR collections to keep the content we've already paid for.

Please tell me I'm misunderstanding what is happening! Has anyone had this issue?
Thanks for your help. Please forgive if this topic has already been addressed. The list archive search came back with an error.
Jackie
