CALL FOR POSTER PROPOSALS-PTPL 2021 VIRTUAL ANNUAL MEETING

PTPL<https://www.potomactechlibrarians.org/> is sending out a call for posters for its 97TH Annual Meeting<https://www.potomactechlibrarians.org/event-4128131> on Friday, October 15, 2021.  This year's theme is Adaptability in Technical Services. The meeting will be virtual.  Accepted posters will be made available on demand to meeting participants, with dedicated live Q and A sessions during the meeting for selected posters.

If you have developed innovative workflows or solutions to address the circumstances of this pandemic year, and you would like to share with your colleagues, please consider sending a proposal for the annual meeting poster session.
Some potential topics include the following:

  *   Pandemic postmortem: What lessons were learned? What did we change?
  *   Surprising outcomes of the pandemic
  *   Efficiencies we should continue after the pandemic
  *   Organizational impacts of the pandemic
  *   Advocating for technical services post-pandemic
  *   Maintaining agility and adaptability for future uncertainty
This list is not exhaustive.  We are interested in any other ways you adapted your work in technical services.
Proposal Requirements:

  *   Title
  *   Authors with affiliations
  *   Abstract of up 300 words
  *   Submissions with multiple co-authors can have a single presenter
Poster Format Requirements:

  *   Pre-recorded presentation of 3-5 minutes with infographic or slide(s)
  *   Additional instructions will accompany proposal acceptance
Submit your proposal to cdulaney at loc.gov <mailto:cdulaney at loc.gov%20> and csus at loc.gov<mailto:csus at loc.gov>.   Proposals are due August 27, 2021.  Decisions will be announced on September 10, 2021.

Meeting registration fee will be waived for accepted poster presenters and co-authors.
