The University of Northern British Columbia is seeking applicants for a Library Technical Assistant - Web Services. This is a full time, 8-month term position, and can be done remotely.

Under the direction of Librarians, Library Technical Assistants (LTAs) provide service within a wide range of functional areas in the Geoffrey R. Weller Library. LTAs provide excellence in the provision and facilitation of information services, including reference, cataloguing, material processing, interlibrary loans, material acquisitions, copyright and licensing, web services, stacks management, and other library services as assigned.
Reporting to the Access Services Librarian, the Library Technical Assistant-Web Services is responsible for strengthening student, staff, and faculty user experiences across a variety of web platforms, modifying web interfaces for optimal usability, and ensuring content is accurate, accessible, engaging. This position also works internally to support Library staff in their use of web-based software and content creation.
