[Eril-l] Binding print serials

At University of Central Florida, we started using preservation-friendly
boxes in the last year or so, due to escalating binding costs and
difficulties with pick-up, delivery, and responsiveness.  It takes some
staff time to do the labeling but I’m not sure it’s substantially more than
binding. An added benefit is that the periodicals aren’t out of the library
for months on end.  We chose these in part because we needed a container
that would work with our "robotic" storage system.
