Hello James.
BR1s and BR2s are going to be changing with COUNTER Release 5.
See https://www.projectcounter.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Release_5_Librarians_20190509-Revised-Edition.pdf
In section 9, after the table:
"If you are used to using Release 4's BR1 and BR2 reports to assess book usage, you should now use the TR_B1 report to obtain comparable statistics. The Unique_Title_Requests metric in TR_B1 will tell you the usage for each book, whether the platform delivers whole books or individual chapters."

Hi all,
I'm thinking of shifting away from collecting BR1 (title requests) and moving solely to providing BR2 (section/chapter requests) for annual reporting on eBook usage.
I was wondering about the consensus on the listserv.
Is there any value to including BR1 reports when providing eBook usage data?
Thank you,
James
