Good question. We use LibAnswers chat/ticketing functionality to track eResources. There are analytics built in and it's a great tool for moving things through workflows. I'm actually giving a presentation at ALA at the Springshare booth on Saturday at 10. As a merged organization, we use the IT ticketing system to track problems and troubleshooting with online resources.   Since we often have to get IT involved, it's a way to look for patterns and document chronic issues.  We don't track specific interactions with e-resources elsewhere.

Hi Jaymie,
We use an Excel spreadsheet on a shared departmental drive where each person who works with e-resources in our department has their own column for each month. So we keep individual tallies and then we enter our own totals at the end of each month. 
Personally, I use the email flags in Outlook to track mine. I make a to-do and then check it off, so at the end of the month, I just count up all of my checked flags. We have criteria that we only count each issue as 1, so even if we follow up with a vendor 5 times, it counts as 1.

Looking to the collective wisdom of the group to see if there are any great methods for counting and tracking e-resource statistics within their departments? This could be titles activated, updated, deleted, access verification, e-resource problems handled, etc.  Do you use a simple tally sheet that staff use to track throughout the day, or are there any more elegant solutions?
