System Libraries Resource Development Director
Texas A&M University Libraries seeks a creative and dynamic professional to join the Texas A&M University Libraries as System Libraries Resource Development Director. We are hiring one individual for a full-time position with an 11-month academic appointment beginning by January 2020. This is a non-tenure track faculty position with professional service expectations.
The System Libraries Resource Development Director will provide innovative leadership for the Texas A&M University System Library Consortium. In consultation with the Consortium, Contracts Administration, and the Office of General Counsel, the System Libraries Resource Development Director reviews and negotiates digital resources licenses to ensure compliance with established federal and state guidelines, including copyright and accessibility guidelines. Responsibilities include negotiating with vendors, establishing and maintaining effective vendor relations, maintaining an Electronic Resource Management System for cooperative agreements, and managing the setup and maintenance of access records for existing and new cooperative agreements in the ERM.
