Beth,

Yes, highly annoying... it would definitely be better to have some context for students such as [Issue Cover - No title].

Hi Karen,

I do think that is what they are maybe seeing it on too - all of this is second-hand for me since I am basically the go-between but good to know. They hadn't specified before that it was only TOCs, ads, other non-article type things. That does help. Still annoying for the users though I would think.

Hi Beth,

Are they seeing [Untitled] for actual articles and not for things like the title page and TOC and ads? These are the types of PDFs I see when finding [Untitled] in any of the EBSCOhost databases.

Hi All,

One of our libraries has been having problems with some content from PsycARTICLES on the EBSCO platform. They are seeing [Untitled] come up for the article title for some of the articles in Review of General Psychology and Journal of Applied Psychology but also sporadically in several other titles. We did open a ticket but after a few weeks of bugging EBSCO about it, they closed the ticket saying that they saw the problem but that "it has been determined that current development plans do not include a change to this functionality". If anyone else goes in and sees similar from their end, would you would open a ticket with support at ebsco.com<mailto:support at ebsco.com>? Maybe the more tickets they have on this will get it fixed sooner rather than later.

If you want to try to recreate on your end, I know that one of the screenshots they sent shows a Boolean search with Journal of Applied Psychology and it looks like a date range, but it is blurry and my eyesight is not what it once was. Also, I would be interested to hear if others are having this issue.

Thanks,
Beth
