[Eril-l] Does Google Scholar Advanced search work?

Maybe it’s fixed this morning or maybe it’s because I’m using the UK host.

Here’s a tip from Frederick Young of Houston University about Google’s ncr syntax:


“Based on this Google Support page:

https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/873?hl=en), you should be able
to add /ncr (no country redirection) to either domain.”

For example:


http://scholar.google.com/ncr

http://scholar.google.nl/ncr

Was it deliberately turned off or is this just a programming glitch?
After all, I'm still seeing the screen where one puts in search terms. Had the advanced searching been deliberately deactivated, this screen would not appear.

Hello – Is it only me, or does Google Scholar Advanced Search not work?  I go to scholar.google.com<http://scholar.google.com>, choose the top left hamburger, choose advanced search and type in a search term like “anything”.  Then click the search button (or hit enter), and I get Please enter a query in the search box above.



Is this a known issue?
