[Eril-l] alias for e-resource email address

Hi Jennifer,

I'd be very curious to hear how well the new address works. That is, if you achieve separation of the invoice, license, and trouble tickets, or if the new email address ends up with the usual on slot of marketing, newsletters, etc.

Here at UCF we have these department email addresses:
eresourc at ucf.edu<mailto:eresourc at ucf.edu> - used mostly as the incoming email address for or problem ticket forms. We initially intended it for the invoices and licenses, too, but it ended up getting mostly newsletters, etc.  We ramped it back down.
libproxy at ucf.edu<mailto:libproxy at ucf.edu>  - used as the incoming email address for our EZproxy login and unauthorized account form
Acquisistions at ucf.edu<mailto:Acquisistions at ucf.edu> and CollectionServices at ucf.edu<mailto:CollectionServices at ucf.edu> - I don't monitor these, so I am not sure what email arrives.

Hello,
We are creating a new email inbox for managing vendor correspondence, which will include ordering, licensing, trouble tickets, etc. I am having a hard time thinking of a generic enough name that covers all of these things. I am a the only librarian that covers e-resources for this online college. I am hoping that having this separate inbox will help me manage all of the vendor tickets better and then reference staff can also login to this account to see outstanding issues that are in process.

I can think of troubleshooting naming options, such as eresolve at xxx.edu<mailto:eresolve at xxx.edu>,  but I want it to be more all-encompassing. eresources at xxx.edu<mailto:eresources at xxx.edu> seems funny to me because our entire library is only e-resources.
I am curious to hear from others!
