[Eril-l] Web of Science proxy access (mostly) not working

Thanks to the friendly librarian who reminded me Web of Science moved to HTTPS. All I had to do was change our proxy link from http to https and it works just fine.

If Web of Science has a redirect in place, it apparently doesn’t work with some proxy systems.

Hi everyone,

It seems as if Web of Science stopped working with WAM proxy, and we heard that was a problem with EZProxy as well. Direct link works, however. You may want to let your reference folks know.

I say “mostly” because occasionally you can get in to WoS via proxy, but you probably won’t be able to search.
