"Under the general direction of the Coordinator for Library Technology Services, the Library Information Systems Support Specialist contributes to the Library's priority of delivering a seamless experience to users by installing, maintaining, enhancing, and providing day-to-day operational management and support of an integrated library system (ILS), currently Innovative Interfaces - Sierra. Along with the Coordinator, the person in this position will work with System Support Specialists in the University of Nebraska Consortium of Libraries (UNCL) to provide the NU Community with access to resources.

The person in this position performs a range of activities in support of electronic resource management, including activating, customizing and trouble-shooting the library's databases, e-books, e-journals, and other web-based information sources. The Support Specialist is responsible for gathering statistics and providing reports on e-resource usage and expenditures.

This is a full time managerial professional staff position reporting to the Coordinator for Library Technology Services & e-Resources Librarian."
