[Eril-l] double proxied ebsco links

Hi,

Wondering if anyone has found a solution to the Ebsco double proxy issue, where permalinks are constructed as:
http://ezproxy.yourlib.org/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com.ezproxy.yourlib.org/

There is an entry on the ebsco help site that points to it being an ezproxy issue, with recommended remedy:

https://help.ebsco.com/interfaces/EBSCOadmin/EBSCOadmin_FAQs/prevent_double_proxy_information_appearing_on_URL

The suggested measures do not seem to solve the doubling (we’ve tried them), and it does not seem to make sense that this is an ezproxy issue rather than an Ebsco issue. Having said that, the doubling does not appear to impact linking all that much, but perhaps it may down the road, and it does cause some confusion about how proxied links are made.
