Do you have a project you're working on that you'd like to share with colleagues? Do you want to discuss successes and challenges when dealing with library acquisitions? The ALCTS CRS Acquisitions Committee welcomes proposals for presentations at the 2018 ALA Midwinter Conference in Denver, Colorado. The session will take place on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 3:00pm-4:00pm. The session will allow you to address issues with continuing resource acquisitions. This might include:
* Building collection development policies from the ground up
* Evaluating PDA/DDA programs
* Ongoing serials inflation, and what libraries are doing to manage the crisis
* Collections as Service
* Statistics: Tools for Collection Development
How to submit:
Submit your topic and brief description (300 words max) to Elaine McCracken (jemccracken at ucsb.edu<mailto:jemccracken at ucsb.edu>) by November 22, 2017. Notifications of acceptance will be made by November 30, 2017.
