[Eril-l] Marc records for packages - workflow, tracking, etc

Hi everyone,
I am working to improve our workflow for obtaining & tracking sets of marc
records for large ebook packages (or databases, etc) from vendors and I'm
wondering if anyone has any documentation on how your library handles this
process? Types of questions include:
How do you track whether you have received every record for books you're
entitled to in your package or order?
How does your acquisitions/eresources team & systems or cataloging teams
work together to manage large records loads?
How closely do you scrutinize large sets of records and compare them to
title lists? How often do you find they don't match exactly?
How do you track "ongoing" loads? Especially for packages where all of the
books aren't published yet and you expect to continually get more access
and more records over the course of a year or more.
If you use a link resolver, do you track which books are not available in
the link resolver to activate?
Any documentation, workflows, or other information you can send me would be
great.
Thanks,
Sherry
