One free source that I’ve heard good things about is the IMSLP/Petrucci Music Library, at http://imslp.org. IMSLP stands for International Music Score Library Project.

We are starting to investigate online collections for music scores. If any of you have experience with these, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts about usability, availability of stats, openURL linking, and any other issues we may need to consider.
