Join us for an open forum on OER lead by Steven Bell on Saturday, June 25,
2016.

What is OER?  Steven Bell will describe the program at Temple University,
including institutional strategies, how to talk to faculty, lessons
learned, successes, and best practices.

Steven Bell is an academic librarian who studies, writes and speaks about
higher education, leadership, design thinking and user experience, textbook
affordability and educational technology. He’s a co-founder of the Blended
Librarians Online Learning Community. He writes at Designing Better
Libraries, a blog about design thinking and library user experiences. He
authors two columns for Library Journal Academic Newswire, "From the Bell
Tower" and "Leading From the Library". He is co-author of the book “Academic
Librarianship by Design” and editor of the recently published “Crucible
Moments: Inspiring Library Leadership”. For additional information about
