Thanks for sharing, Ann. The category, Availability and Access, leads me to another question (two, actually).

Does anyone have a list of criteria that you use when evaluating digital platforms? Long term availability and perpetual access rights is obviously a biggie, as would be compatibility with library ILS, use of interface, etc. We currently have OverDrive and 3M and will be comparing these with others on the market including Odilo, BilbioBoard, enki, Total Boox, and also Hoopla, Freegal (basically everything we don't have).

And another question: Recently there was a discussion on one of these listservs regarding the migration of all digital content to one platform. Would the one who initially posed this question be willing to send me a summary of the responses you received?

Here is what we've done at Ottawa PL.  This was put together by my predecessors and approved by our Board in April 2014, and is our guide through to 2016.
