[Eril-l] Sociological Abstracts

We’ve noticed that Sociological Abstracts via ProQuest is way behind in indexing key sociology journals. This has happened more than once. When this issue was raised with ProQuest, we were told that the tardiness is due in part to an internal switchover to a new editorial system.

The problem is significant for us and we are wondering if other libraries have noticed? We are wondering, also, about switching to another, competing product such as SocIndex from EBSCO.

Any thoughts or insights from others would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve
