The Coy C. Carpenter Medical Library at Wake Forest Health Sciences is seeking applicants for the position of Acquisition and Electronic Resources Librarian to coordinate the full materials acquisitions and management lifecycle. Responsibilities including collection development, budgeting, managing usage statistics, staff workflows and monitoring of current trends in technology.

Located in beautiful Winston-Salem, The Carpenter Library is a medium to small library which provides services to medical, physician assistant, nursing and allied health students; Wake Forest Baptist Hospital physicians, residents and health professionals; and research, teaching and clinical faculty.  The Librarians and library staff strive to improve and enhance health care through innovation and leadership in the organization, delivery, management, and use of quality information to support the educational, research, and patient care needs of our users.

Reports to the Associate Director for Technical Services

Basic Qualifications:  Masters in Library or Information Science (MLS) from an ALA-accredited school and 1-3 years working in a library setting.  Experience in providing and supporting access to library resources preferred.
